Nokia Freeware

Newsflash

I was using Opera mini since long time and I was waiting for the version 3.0, but was surprised the some of the new features are not working, especially the download one. I'll try to check if its due to my mobile or other issue.

I bought last month a Nokia Bluetooth Keyboard SU-8W, it was a gadget that I wanted to get since long time but didn't find it in any of the close mobile shops. The idea sounds crazy, but I love to try new things, and getting a bluetooth keyboard was a new experience for me that I wanted to try and step into mobile productivity. I got the package today, the bluetooth keyboard, with two AA batteries in addition to a memory card 32Mo that probably none use it and put it with the keyboard. I throw it away anyway.

NSeries have a nokia keyboard application pre-installed and if you don't have it you can simply get it from Nokia Catalogue. This will make coupling your mobile with the Nokia Keyboard very easy. From connectivity, launch Wireless keyboard application then select Find Keyboards from the menu. This will enable bluetooth if not enabled and start searching. From the other side turn the keyboard on, it will be immediately detected as Nokia SU-8W. After that a password is requested from your mobile phone, choose any number then type it on the keyboard to validate. Once your mobile and keyboard are coupled, usage will be more than fun, by simply turning on the keyboard you can instantly get control on your mobile phone.

What's interesting here is that Nokia Bluetooth keyboard can be used really anywhere, especially for blogging and I'll post a more detailed article about blogging with Nokia phones. This is for me the most interesting case, others will enjoy a keyboard for chating with mobile (not my case) or simply enjoy writing emails and notes.

It defintely something to use anywhere with any application even to play some card games. For programming I really don't know yet, if I'm able to write any code on a very small resolution's screen, probably to create some mobile applications or website ? Really don't know but I'm very excited to experiment this, not with python but I need somethng where I feel more comfortable for programming. Anyone have also a Nokia keyboard ? Would be intersting to share how you use it for your mobile productivity.

Enjoy !
